Wedding florists along with the help of creative wedding planners sometimes have to make magic out of plan B!

Angelica and Casey’s planned outdoor wedding ceremony at The Highlawn in West Orange, NJ had pivoted to the indoor ballroom due to rain but offered an amazing framed view of the New York City skyline. With a wood backup arch and the wedding planners well placed boxes and linens to offer height and dimension to the altar florals, the overall new design worked perfectly! Flexibility, thoughtful design, and a little creativity transformed a rainy day into an intimate and unforgettable experience.

The color scheme I coined “feminine fall” brought the autumn season and romance indoors adding a cozy feel. Tones in peach, cream, mauve and champagne with a touch of dark burgundy bring a lightness to traditional fall colors along with the loose garden design of the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets.
